Trick or Treat...

On Halloween night, we went back over to Grandma and Papa's for some homemade chilli, cornbread, and some trick or treating... Sofia dressed up as Minnie Mouse for her first Halloween...

Of course she loved everything about her costume except for the ears....

Papa came trick or treating with us this year and Grandma stayed home to pass out the candy. We missed you Grandma!

Nana and Grandpa came over also...They couldn't wait to take their 1st grand-daughter trick or treating...
Trick or treating with cousins is the best!! This year Bella was a ladybug, Olivia was Hannah Montana and baby Reed was a 3-eyed monster...

Can you say C-A-N-D-Y???

I'm not sure what Sofia is thinking here...But I'm thinking it's.."This FREE CANDY thing is GREAT!!!

Halloween Morning...

We went to Grandma and Papa's house this morning for our annual Pumpkin carving contest...

Sofia was so excited to see her cousins and help Daddy carve her pumpkin...

Sofia's Blanket

This is how you will find Sofia every time she sleeps. This blanket was given to her by one of the nurses in the NICU. Sofia LOVES this blanket. When we give it to her she gets soooo excited and *sniffs* it. Yes, I said sniff! It's the funniest thing! I think she takes after her mommy...who is 35 and still has a wobbie!!!

9 Months Already!!!

Sofia is nine months already. I keep telling myself that, but I don't believe it! Every time I write her monthly blog I think this is my favorite age, but it keeps getting better! Earlier tonight, I was looking at some of my older blogs and can't believe how much she has changed. Time goes by so fast!

Fun Facts About Sofia:

• At her 9 month check up she weighed 20 lbs. and is 28 1/2 inches. She is in the 70th percentile for both height and weight.
• She is finally rolling over!!!
• She has 4 teeth.
• She said her first word...."up"!
• She waves "Hi" and"Bye"...
• She started giving mommy and daddy kisses.
• She has the Yo Gabba Gabba characters and if you ask her where each one is, she will pick them up.
• She sleeps through the night, usually 12 hours. Love her!
• Her Favorite Toys- teething rings, bouncy gym, musical walker, remote controls, cell phones, keys, and books.
• She loves to watch her cousin Bella play soccer. And when we cheer "Go Tigers Go!!" she gets soooo excited and slaps her knees and yells right along with us. Good Times!!

Sofia's 1st Halloween is right around the corner...I wonder what she will be...hmm...I guess you will have to wait and see!!

Pumpkin Patch 2009

It was such a beautiful day today we went to Lombardi Ranch. It was Sofia's first trip to the Pumpkin Patch!

My family and the Lombardi's have been friends for years. We have made a lot of good memories there.

You know, Sofia never leaves the house without her entourage! Cousins Bella and Livvie met us there. They would never miss Sofia's first trip to the Pumpkin Patch!
